"Wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world."

"The structure of the world itself, it functions on natural law, and the natural law is a powerful regenerative process. Its a process of regeneration that continues and grows and is endless. Its absolutely endless if everyone agrees to the law and follows the law. But if you challenge the law, and you think you are going to change the law, then you are bound to failure…"

~ John Trudell, Native American activist

"The fundamental illusion that modern humans need to wake up from now is the idea that we are somehow separate from Nature. We are not separate, we are Nature herself, in human form. We are a part of a greater Earth community, children of this living planet. Once this understanding becomes "common sense" for high technology cultures and civilizations, humanity will be able to solve the problems we've created, by believing we were somehow superior to other species and separate from our Mother, the Earth."

~ Christopher Chase

“We often forget that WE ARE NATURE. Nature is not something separate from us. So when we say that we have lost our connection to nature, we’ve lost our connection to ourselves.”

~ Andy Goldsworthy

"When we speak of Nature it is wrong to forget that we are ourselves a part of Nature. We ought to view ourselves with the same curiosity and openness with which we study a tree, the sky or a thought, because we too are linked to the entire Universe."

~ Henri Matisse

"We are life. We are nature. We are Universe. Self-reflexive consciousness allows us different perspectives on this ever-transforming and evolving whole we participate in — this all that we are reflections of. We bring forth a world together, as embodied manifestations of the universe co-creating the world through how we participate and what we pay attention to and care about."

~ Daniel Christian Wahl

In Sweden, sustainability isn’t just a concept it has its own shopping mall. Located in the city of Eskilstuna, ReTuna is the world’s first retail center entirely dedicated to repaired, reused, and upcycled goods. Every store inside sells secondhand items, but with a powerful difference: each one includes an on-site workshop where products are restored, redesigned, or given a second life.

The mall works closely with a nearby recycling center, where residents drop off unwanted clothing, furniture, electronics, toys, and household items. Instead of heading to landfill, usable goods are carefully sorted and sent to ReTuna’s shops. Skilled workers then repair, transform, or creatively repurpose them for resale, turning waste into value.
Walking through ReTuna feels familiar, yet quietly revolutionary. Shoppers can find vintage clothes reworked into modern fashion, reclaimed wood crafted into stylish furniture, and broken electronics restored to full function. Some stores even host workshops, teaching visitors how to repair their own belongings and rethink how they consume.
ReTuna challenges the idea that shopping must come at the cost of the planet. It shows that sustainability can be practical, affordable, and appealing not a sacrifice, but an upgrade. In a world dominated by fast fashion and disposable products, this repair-focused mall offers a powerful reminder that every discarded item can still have a future.

While most countries bulldoze trees for progress, Japan does something extraordinary. When a tree stands in the way of development, Japanese engineers don't destroy it. They move it. Entire mature trees, roots and all, relocated with surgical precision. The result? Cities that thrive alongside nature, not at its expense. (By Evolved Chimp)

In Denmark, there are special floating islands that are full of colorful wildflowers. These islands are not like regular islands; they float on water and are found in busy harbors. The bright flowers make these islands beautiful and create a safe home for many different kinds of birds and bees. The islands help the animals thrive even in the busy areas where people work and travel.

The wildflowers provide food and shelter for the birds and bees. Birds can find places to rest and build their nests, while bees can gather nectar from the flowers. This is important for the environment because both birds and bees play key roles in pollinating plants and keeping nature balanced. The floating islands are a perfect example of how nature and human activities can coexist.
These islands not only help wildlife but also make the harbors more pleasant to look at. People visiting these areas can enjoy the beauty of the flowers and watch the birds and bees. By creating these floating islands, Denmark shows how we can protect nature while still using our waterways for boats and commerce. It's a wonderful way to celebrate and support wildlife in our busy world.

Is good that they are taking care of their Seals!

How did that happen?

As Arctic sea ice disappears, seals are losing the platforms they need to rest, raise pups, and survive.

Norway has stepped in — not with campaigns, but with craftsmanship. Engineers have created floating ice pods designed to replace the vanishing habitat.
They're made from biodegradable, non-toxic materials. Insulated to stay cold under the Arctic sun. Grooved to keep seals from slipping. Some even carry sensors to monitor populations.
For seal pups, these pods mean life instead of death. For adults, they reduce the strain of finding safe ground in a warming ocean.
This isn’t just design — it’s intervention. When nature loses ground, survival becomes an act of construction.

In Brazil, a small but meaningful innovation is buzzing quietly along its highways — bee hotels built right into the medians. These aren’t elaborate structures, but simple wooden blocks or drilled logs that offer shelter for solitary bees. Placed strategically in highway medians, they serve as rest stops for pollinators navigating long distances, especially across wind-heavy corridors where crosswinds often disorient or exhaust flying insects.

With Brazil being home to hundreds of native bee species — many of which are solitary and do not live in hives — these bee hotels offer critical support for their survival. Each block is drilled with small tunnels of varying sizes to accommodate different species. Positioned away from heavy vehicle paths, these medians offer just enough calm for bees to pause, rest, and recharge before continuing their pollination journeys.
Why place them on highways? Because roads frequently cut through natural landscapes and flower fields, creating fragmented habitats. These bee hotels reconnect those gaps, offering safe landing zones amid otherwise harsh asphalt surroundings. Some median plantings also include wildflowers and native shrubs, providing pollen sources nearby.
The broader aim is environmental regeneration. By supporting bees, Brazil supports food systems, forest growth, and biodiversity. It’s also a symbolic reminder that even the most mechanical human landscapes can hold space for delicate life. These mini sanctuaries show how micro-interventions can ripple into macro ecological benefits, one tiny wing at a time.  (By Fact 27)
