the wind howls
the snow drifts
until the Summer comes
when this world gets dressed
in its fancy clothes
of flowers and leaves
grass and trees
with honey and bees
then the Song of the Phoenix ensues
all bursting with life and news
to refresh the tired and stale views
of the long and freezing winter.
