Buddhist monks' Walk for Peace arrives at Washington National Cathedral
Nineteen monks began the 2,300-mile journey from the Huong Dao Vipassana Bhavana Center in Fort Worth on Oct. 26, 2025.
LIVE: Monks on a Walk for Peace arrive in Washington, DC
Two dozen Buddhist monks complete their 2,300-mile ‘Walk for Peace,’ which began in Texas and crossed nine US states, drawing thousands of onlookers, in Washington, D.C. They will meet with other monks and nuns at American University.
This is so beautiful to witness. We need more goodness in the world. May peace walk with everyone today.
