All about foods:

The food that we intake has a humungous influence on our thoughts and behaviour. The nature of food -- saatvic (Purity), rajasic (Action) or tamasic (dullness) goes a long way in characterizing our mind.

Based on the kind of food one consumes, one can keep his mind away from base qualities like lust etc. and thus keep up 'Brahmacharya' (Celibacy)

Below are a few tips regarding Sattvic foods that will keep not only your body healthy but also your mind sound and saatvic.

Take as less hot spices, salt and sugar in your diet as possible.
Avoid tangy foods that contain tamarind.

Fruits:

Supplement your diet with ample fruits, specially Chinese dates, wood apple.

Avoid mango and jack-fruit as they tend to increase body heat and hence lust
