When this copy of the writings of William Tyndale and two other Protestant martyrs was given to Elizabeth I (crowned Queen on this day in 1559), it was surely an attempt to secure royal favor for the printer and editor. What’s the best book-ish gift you’ve ever received?

This page comes from a 12th-century manuscript depicting the life, passion, and miracles of St. Edmund. If the illustrations look a bit, that's the Romanesque style--characterized by elongated figures and two-dimensional space.

I'd like to recommend a book I have just finished reading, and do know that it is going to stay within me for a long time-
Alone in Berlin by Hans Fallada.

Hans Falada was mentally ill drug addict, and for a time - favorite of Goebbels in Nazi Germany. But in his book about a pair who are opposed to the Nazi regime, he is making a soul searching, criticise his people and pointed to the moment that one has to give up personal security and to take a moral stand.

A Book which is generally a best recorded sourse of effective information must be written ethically taking humanity and its traits in view. I personally love reading those books which are containing with innovative ideas relating to HUMINTY LOVE BASED because I being a peace wisher and love seeker always dream for restoration of ideal humanity and dream for the day when every one consider him/herslf as child of Adam's family then the relationship between us would be making us true cousin of all...wish my dreams are ever fulfilled in my life.. and see the globe wrapped by peace and prosperity...

I being writer and poet of many books make appeal here to every reader, writer and even those who love reading books !!! Please NO MORE WAR , For God sake NO MORE WAR... We, the humanbeings never suit fighting except capturing hearts as I say in one of my famous say.... Hi bookworms !

My main interest lies in 2012 or better in ascension. So I like to recommend some books for this event. As the mayan are telling (thru Drunvalo Melchizedek) this moment may arive any time now. That door is open since 2007 till 2015.

This was my first book where I learned about 2012 and as far as I know the best for 2012.
