Love for Tibet

"Never give up"

No matter what is going on
Never give up
Develop the heart
Too much energy in your country
Is spent developing the mind
Instead of the heart
Be compassionate
Not just to your friends
But to everyone
Be compassionate
Work for peace
In your heart and in the world
Work for peace
And I say again
Never give up
No matter what is going on around you
Never give up.

- Poem by the Dalai Lama -

The true meaning of life

We are visitors on this planet,
We are here for ninety
Or hundred years
At the very most.
During that period,
We must try to do something good,
Something useful,
With our lives.
If you contribute to other people’s happiness,
You will find the true goal,
The true meaning of life.

- 14th Dalai Lama

TOGETHER a picture for Tibet

Until July 6, 2012 – the Dalai Lama‘s birthday – a unique piece of art will form out of the names of people, as ann urgent appeal and great hope to preserve the thousands-year-old Tibetan culture.

Tibetan Losar - Water Dragon Year 2139

I have heard the Chinese are even banning Chinese tourists from entering Tibet at this time - please pray for Tibet and Tibetans everywhere.

China with all its power, money and army is afraid for the Dalai Lama, because this man is invincable. China took his land from him, but he follows his heart and keeps his inner peace. What a lightworker.

How well to hear his lessons. Inner freedom is outer freedom. This is what the most of the Chinese people have to learn. By occupying Tibet they don't have the richness of the Tibetian soul. This Tibetian soul will never be occupied. This is the core of the freedom of Tibet.

At the end of the talk someone from the audience  asked the Dalai Lama, "Why didn't you fight back against  the Chinese?" The Dalai Lama looked down, swung his feet  just a bit, then looked back up at us and said with a gentle smile, "Well, war is obsolete, you know " Then, after a few moments,  his face grave, he said, "Of course the mind can rationalize  fighting back...but the heart, the heart would never understand.  Then you would be divided in yourself, the heart and the mind,  and the war would be inside you."
