Peace for the Soul

A common space for harmonic peacemakers

resurrected

he was a broken man
for which he was grateful
there was a time he stood erect
but he could not detect his soul . .
his heart.
as he reflected
upon a life past . . .
a life gone by
he began to cry
not for anguish
nor for all the years wasted
not knowing
where was he going
but he went anyway
night by night
day by day
sightless
aimless
yet he thought he was living
living his way towards death
one breath at a time
but who was counting ?
who had time ?
was it in his hands
or some Time-X factor
somewhere over some rainbow
he could not touch ?
did not matter much now,
for he was broken now
for which he was grateful
and he is being molded now
not by the definitions of the past experiences
nor by his dreams he never truly met
yes, he was broken now
for which he was grateful
and being molded now
for he is here now

resurrected
