upon the landscapes of life

upon the landscapes of our lives

we will encounter Mountains
we will encounter Rain
the Joys will be many
as will the pains

there will be road blocks
some passed and some not
as we alter our paths
believing this is our lot

in our journey there will be
many flowers and weeds as well
take in the experiences
and the fragrances and smells

some with be uplifting
and others of awful repute
life offers much harmony
and a cadre of dispute

when given the chance
do plant some seed
for the bounty we sow
is our Life’s telling deed

i pray that you encounter
just one good and true friend
and i pray that you find them
heart deep within
