They had left school

Her very first kiss

She had given him

his first true love

 

Many of their peers

Envied what these two

Had for each other

They were Romeo and Juliet

the way i did then

Too bad time did us apart

We could have got together"

 

It was hard to tell if

The tears they were sheding

Were tears of joy or not

As they hugged and said bye

 

It was salient though

That despite the wrinkles

All over their bodies

Their hearts were freash

can a man love more

than any other man

or a woman love more again?

 

is the test by fire

the depth of love
