i have been taken prisoner 

do not set me free

i have become enraptured

by a hidden harmony

since the moment i was captured

its clear for all to see.

the bars that keep me in this place

vibrate with music sweet and sharp

the breeze that blows upon my face

sings sweetly thru that aeolian harp.

.

there is a bar to be found in here

they sell no beer but give elixir

in buckets if you want to drink

(i've drunk and i am drowning Now.)

i am hooked on loves sweet nectar

drawn from the ambrosial well of Now

quaffed in abandoned splendour

and how!!

.

Now i am drowning in a sea of peace

you will not hear from me

unless it comes from in the waves

beyond where you can see

you may hear the faintest sigh

-  do not set me free -

i've lost myself and found myself

where i want to be

do not set me free.

thank you for comment Kerrin. i do thank heavens .. freedom and peace are both to be found in the same place. in fact they are the same thing and its not what you can think or believe. its unbelievable.. literally. but we are all born to know it completely..for ourselves. like an umbrella does not stop it raining but it keeps you dry. we all have one that we can unfurl if we are keen to know how.

The true Spiritual reality is unbelievable to our limited intellect.  Our Spiritual nature is the unlimited part.  If we are caught up in trying to prove Spiritual matters, progress stops.
