Adam is not dead

though he died a billion times

often it is said

Eden barred him for his crimes

but heaven has no gates

to bar any soul from life

whilst the way is open wide

for man to go inside.

every breath is a vote

every breath a step

the breath of life

will make dust dance

with joy forever kept.

then let me say it Now

as it has not yet been said

that Adam's still being made

so how can he be dead?

the work is in progress

the undertaking true

behold the mighty 'Ship of Peace' comes Now

and will we watch it sail thru

will we let it pass us by

because we thought we knew?

when Knowledge of the self

is where we get to join the crew.

Nice thoughts. Someone with constructive critism would tell you to work on the form (and believe me I need lots of this in not just my poetry but everyday light for a person that has made a mistake recognizes it.).

But this is full of empathy as you share your thoughts with others traveling through here and now...Thank You!
