the presence of Life is here

the rattling mind and the clattering tongue

like clouds they cover the shining sun

and there is no way in this maze of space

to discovering the peace in the peaceful place

unless we knock on the door of the heart

we will always be separate always apart

left out in the cold from the time of our birth

then trying for 'it' for all we are worth

while the hours wither like broken games

on the playground of the earth.
