a thankful poem

thank you
for this most amazing day
the clouds in a sky of blue
the glory of the sun going down
the crows cawing
in the flight toward the night
the cold of winter
freezing my nose
fingers , toes

thank you for this most amazing life
the calm , the rage
the sweetness
the pissed offness
the love , the like
the hate , the disappointments
sadness and joy
all possible
because I breathe
life alive

thank you
for the most amazing view
to see with my hearts eyes
the delight of me
my existence on
incredible earth
with a breathing heart
a love inside
that pours in my being
of the glory of seeing
awareness of loving life
irregardless of its strife
eternity found , felt within
what a predicament
of great fortune
I am in

How fortunate to have your "A Thankful Poem"  find its way into my spirit tonight. Although posted almost a month ago, the words are timeless. A poem that can be read over and over feeding energy to life and breath. Tonight I felt the stars in the night sky speak words of peace. A gift so pure and so free. Grateful to you Janice!
