hearts content

[desmond dillon]

i hear you say 'its more than that'

an overflowing heart

where boundless joy is carried by

the security of Love

whose form is found again

in every atom of the world

in which we have the senses to perceive.

then tears must well

and flood the dark

we will not grieve

but dance a joy

whose tears mark

the gratitude of hearts content.

Of all the things i ever want

i want you more and more

you my dancing darling heart

the one That i adore.
