UN Women is pleased to invite you to the United Nations observance of International Women’s Day 2021. The theme is “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world on the way to the Generation Equality Forum”.

Hosted by Sophia Pierre-Antoine, PSEA Officer at IOM HQ and former Board Co-Chair of FRIDA Young Feminist Fund.

If we recognize women's international day we should also recognize the right of women to go topless just as men are free to do already.Let's make this recognition about not only women's contributions but also the right to go topless like men do already!

Comment by Lothar Seifert on March 7, 2021 at 9:09am: On Monday, March 8, 2021 is International Women's Day. I congratulate all women and wishes that they are equal in families and in the profession.
In the former GDR (East Germany) all women were honored on March 8. On this day in all companies made a big festival for women.

Comment by Mark Burrell on March 6, 2021 at 9:49pm: This Day should be seen as a major Festival each year, eg in the main part of a WHSmith diary rather than just in the list of International Awareness Days. I've translated it from a German 2021 calendar and written it on another calendar, including the fact that it is a Holiday in Berlin.
