People Who Eat Farm Raised Salmon May Also Be eating Dolphins.

We have had unconfirmed reports for years that pilot whale and dolphin meat have been fed to salmon on farms in the Faroe Islands.

In New Zealand however we have secured proof that dolphins have been caught up in nets and ground up with fish into fish meal for domestically raised salmon.

For years Norway denied that whales were being used to feed fur-bearing animals. Confronted with the evidence, Norwegian authorities admitted that whale meat has been fed to farms raising mink, fox and other fur-bearing animals.

Hundreds of thousands of tons of anchovies, herring and other small fishes are caught each year and converted into fish meal to feed captive Atlantic salmon on fish farms in Norway, Scotland, Chile, Tasmania and British Columbia.

Kudos to Sea Shepherd New Zealand for securing this insightful report.

Heri Joensen exposed as a coward in Faroese Media

Tyr's visit to San Diego made the news in the Faroe Islands on the same day they Faroese massacred 145 defenseless pilot whales. The article pointed out that the band's front man refused to debate me and stayed hidden in his tour bus. Last night's protest against Tyr in Phoenix, Arizona was great considering Sea Shepherd does not have a chapter in Arizona. Phoenix does have passionate whale and dolphin defenders.
On Thursday the pseudo Viking roadshow arrives in Dallas.

This is a new illustration of the enormous pressure that humans exert on the oceans. Industrial fishing exploits at least 55% of the world's sea surface - more than four times the area occupied by agriculture on land!

Man destroys everything he touches.

Sea Shepherd has already stopped BP and Chevron from drilling in the Great Australia Bight and now we are fighting the Norwegian State owned Statoil.
