BMI in association with TOMA Studios would like to introduce you to Shayna Bracha Farber and her debut album “18”. Farber, a pioneer of spiritual word jazz, fuses the styles of trailblazers like Ken Nordine and Shimmy Boyle into a truly visionary sound.

Each track bursts with passion and grace as Farber take the listener through a journey of the mind, body and soul. Farber, a certified shaman and musical healer based out of Chicago, creates an ambitious first album that will delight the ears.

Here is a summary of the album in her own words:

“18” means life, in 18 minutes you will go on a journey that has taken me many lifetimes to reach. Each song and meditation is very powerful, when I channeled the vocals I felt like God was in the room with me. What blew me away was Tony Saunders and Michael Hinton’s interpretation of my words into the creation of this music. I go with the flow of life but I do some swimming too as I move forward on this glorious path we call LIFE!

The album was produced by the legendary Tony Saunders who also plays bass on the album. Michael Hinton joins the band on guitar lending his talents to the creation of Farber’s unique vision.
