A common space for harmonic peacemakers
I am dragging something out of my poetry closet to share (again) with each and all, a small contribution in words to healing the harm brought on by one arrogant fool. Let us all pray together for peace, understanding, and unity in diversity that reveals us as both one and many. -david
ALL FLOWERS
All tongues
that have hymned God
are beautiful.
All places
sanctified to the worship of One
are beautiful.
All races
all deeds done
all faces that have shone with love
shine
and are beautiful.
Harsh world
turn not away
into the hour of adversity
but flower
into God’s maturity.
All flowers…all flowering
is beautiful.

As I wear myself out,
Following the footsteps of God,
I am grateful for all
That caused me to turn around.
Yes, Thank You
nice one david
More than marvelous, David.
Thanks +++
Love and Peace for you and all Beings.
No Room for Hate.
There is no room within my heart
for revenge, fire or hate
there is no room within my mind
for any thoughts like these.
I cannot find the words to say
just how it is I feel
but I know from deepest hurt
I must forgiveness find.
The hurt that’s been done to us
cuts sore like a knife,
but we must not, repay in kind
what has been done to us.
Instead we must try and find
the way that is so hard,
and reach out our loving hands
to find some friendship now.
There can be no more healing thing
than opening wide our eyes
and seeing that most other folk
are really just like us.

Beautiful. I would say all flowering is divine. All these religious people getting all up tight by the actions of dip sticks, shows up one very important question, who are they giving their power to??
Beauty and offence is in the eye of the beholder.
thank you for this David.
