- What is your purpose to joining Peace For The Soul:
- I very much need contact with like-minded people as I am fairly infirm.
- About Me:
- I was a professional ballet dancer in NYC till 1973, and continued until 2002 in Cincinnati.
I received a master's degree in English Literature with several honors in 1992.
I write and edit and design books, etc. out of a publishing service called The Karma Press (TheKarmaPress.com)
I have been a lay practitioner of Tibetan Gelugpa Buddhism since 2000, nearly 13 years, with several monks who have taught me.
- Interests and activities:
- Photography, writing, editing, reading Karma Tarot cards (not a part of traditional Buddhist practice), Dharma reading, caring for plants galore, and feeding 2 feral cats for 8 years now. Lovely. Trying to cultivate beauty and peace wherever I go. A bit of Hatha Yoga and Pranayama. I treat myself with Japanese Reiki of which I have achieved Level 2. Researching.

What is peace? I've been drawn to seek the essence of peace. Something about it has drawn my attention so as to draw deep grooves on my mind stream. I've been working on prayers that seem to come from my own latent potential to BE peace,as the only way to make a tiny result in family, neighborhood, city, state, nation, WORLD.
