The Black Day 911 9-11 (September 11th 2001)

A small sorrow distracts; a great one makes us collected. ~ Richter

May they who love you be like the sun when it rises in its strength. - Judges 5:31

May they all rest in peace and may we continue to remember what happened on that dark day...

Turkish City Cuts Salaries of Abusive Employees

Hello,

I saw this on Care2 and thought you'd like it as well. There are ways to clearly present that abuse in any way to another human being for any reason is a thing of the past.

One city in Turkey has authorized for half of the salaries of six employees to be paid to their wives because of domestic abuse.

Such…

To Wooo or not to wooo

Last summer, Mali and I were stopped in traffic. I had all the windows rolled down as it was not very hot out and there was a nice breeze. Mali was enjoying flirting with the people in the car next to us when she heard the sirens of a fire truck. The expression on her face was priceless as she snapped her heard around to look at me pleadingly. I swear her eyes were sparkling and she had a grin on her face that ran from ear to ear!

Mali and the Monster.

~This was written some time ago~

Every night Steve and I take Mali to the green way. The green way is a 17 mile walking park. In between the trails we walk and the return course there is a large field and today there were tractors racking and bailing hay. Mali loves going to go to the green way. She has many friends there, who often walk with us in a pack as we travel our three mile route. One day when Mali was 7 months old no one from… Continue

ISSR SHILOH SHEPHERDS

I had wanted to have another dog for many years. I wanted a dog which would be loyal, easy to train, intelligent, a watch dog not a guard dog, impressive in mind and body. One day I stumbled across a picture of a Shiloh Shepherd. I could not stop looking at the picture. It featured a group of shepherds who were eye popping to look at. Some of them were shorthaired or what I later learned is called smooth coated, and some of them were long haired, or plush if you will.

The plush… Continue

Inner Transformation Series – 5 - The Protection Shield – Last Part

Dear All,

Just as it is wiser to protect the sweet by making a fort with water rather than try to drive away the ants, it is wiser to protect our inherent divinity by chanting the Divine Names of the Lord and making a fort of it instead of trying to fight each of our negativities. Following dharma itself is a fort. But if we find it tough to adhere to

some dharma, the easiest dharma that can be adopted by all is the dharma of Nama kirtan, chanting the Names… Continue

HEALTH MIND---WHAT IS HO´OPONOPONO

The simple answer is: Ho'oponopono is easier to achieve a state of enlightenment . It's easy - anyone can do - all method is based on spirituality to the core.

The practice through Ho'oponopono eliminates the memory barrier that blocks our vision of the Divine. Always there, always shining, the Divinity never changes ... only awaits the

realization of their children who are back home .

There is however , a quick fix or a trick to be revealed. It requires constant cleaning… Continue

Luna said...

I walked outside barefoot, I love to feel Gaia that way

The concrete doesn’t matter, I felt her just the same

I looked for the Wolf’s full moon, the biggest moon of the year

Walked half a block searching, my eyes gazing everywhere

Erect and splendiferous, shining with all her passion and might

Shone Luna in all her brilliance, and oh what a breathtaking sight

I stubbed my toe on gravel, dismissed it without a thought

Ignored…

OPINION: Hope and Progress in the Developing World, Despite Daunting Challenges

For most Seattle residents, global hunger seems like an impossible problem to solve. Reports of famine in Niger or the thousands at risk for starvation and malnutrition in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, seem not only far away but impossible to change. A local organization, however,…

Newspapers show us the state of the world. The world and its happenings scorch us! Virtues have gone to the winds. This state of the world is burning us like the sun from above and the sands from below. In such a

situation, it would be very pleasant to hear someone say that the world should be a better place or that the world should be changed or people should be more virtuous, etc. But is it possible to change the world in even an entire lifetime?… Continue
